Alexander Meeks
I have had my first birthday. Oh that was fun! We had balloons,
friends, family, pizza and cake. I had my own little cake
that I didn’t have to share. I got to put my hands in
it to feel the cake. I did eat a little cake. I got to play
with the frosting but I really liked the fact it was mine.
My Grandma had pizza and cake with us. Poppi took a lot of
pictures. My friend Kelle let me wear her sunglasses.
Just before my birthday we had pictures taken by a really
nice lady. She took a lot of time flirting with me. My Grandma
and I had a couple really nice pictures taken. We even did
a picture of the whole family. It was a lot of fun. Everyone
thought I was soooo cute! Of course I am cute.
My car seat faces front now! Along with being able to see
out the front window I can see Nonna and Poppi. Boy is the
front window different than the back. It looks bigger.
My birthday was on a Monday and then on Friday I had another
first. I had my first case of little red spots. They were
so pretty Poppi and Nonna took me to see Dr. Xu! She really
liked my spots too. They liked them so much they didn’t
want to share them with anyone else so I didn’t go to
the babysitter. Nonna stayed home with me all week. Poppi
called my spots chicken pox but I haven’t been around
any chickens. What is a pox?
I am walking and climbing now. It is fun to climb on the
bus full of blocks. If you climb on the bus then you can climb
on to a bookcase. Poppi doesn’t like me to climb on
the cabinets. I climb on the rocker so I can stand on it.
It is fun to watch Aunt Tina’s face when I climb on
things. She’s very animated.
It is summer now so check back to find out if Poppi lets
me play in the big dog’s pool.
